Big red flag this one... I just called Dr. Rudd's office to get information about pricing as a new patient to his practice. I asked the receptionist how much a consultation was on molar 14 and was told $400. Then, I told her that I had already called last week and was told that it was somewhere in the upper $300's. I can't remember the exact number, but I was NOT told that there was a range. The price was presented to me as if it was a flat fee. After I told her that, she changed what she originally said now saying it ranged between $390 & $400. Then, I asked her when I would know exactly how much it would cost and she said "after the consultation." Then, I asked what was included in the consultation. When she listed the x-rays (bitewings & 3D CBCT) I told her that I'd just had all the x-rays she mentioned within the past month. Her response to that was that they "still like to take their own." Fine if you need your own, but it seems very unreasonable to charge especially given that the same scans had just been done at the referring provider's office. Awkward? Yes, absolutely. I have been to Dr. Rudd's office a few times over the past 15 years. It is lovely to be greeted by a very friendly staff, and there is such great care for the patients. I am a nervous dental patient, but have little apprehension coming to this office Every attempt is made to make sure there is no discomfort during the procedure. He is a very caring person. Everything about this practice is top-notch.

I had my first ever root canal and Dr. Rudd was fantastic. He explained everything before doing it and provided examples of the sounds I would hear so I was prepared. I was provided clear instructions and details regarding my care. Dr. Rudd and his staff are awesome and answered all my questions without hesitation.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I felt the whole procedure was so complete, insuring that I understood what was being done and why. Dr Rudd spent the time to explain what he was doing and what to expect. Highly recommend Dr Rudd and his staff!

Dr. Rudd behaved in a very UNPROFESSIONAL manner. He canceled my appointment for a root canal on the day of the appointment. The Thursday before the Monday of the root canal, his office assistant sent me an email threatening me with a $100 charge if I rescheduled and/or requiring payment in full. His assistant said I had rescheduled 4 times before. I never reschedule last minute. I always reschedule weeks in advance. I lost three teeth and was juggling a sinus lift and other health issues at the same time. I’m disabled so I have to plan out my schedule ahead because I only leave the house once or twice a week. I wrote him explaining the many things going on in my life causing me to have to reschedule and that I was rather offended by him threatening me with financial penalties, given I finally was able to make the upcoming appointment. It was so unnecessary for him to sabotage the relationship. Rather than call me to confirm I was planning to come, Dr. Rudd could have avoided all the drama. Instead, he threatened me for absolutely no reason via email. Dr. Rudd cancelled my appointment, behaved unprofessionally, sent me elsewhere, and now has earned a one star review. There wa
